Inauguration Day 2021

The day some said would never come is here. What do we make of that? For those of us who interpret the Scriptures (to one degree or another) it is the reality that nothing but what our Father does or allows happens in this life. Whether I agree or disagree with His will is a matter of obedience. I choose to be obedient, at least most of the time. I sometimes wish I were perfect in my obedience. . .but the Truth is I am not.

I am not comfortable with the new direction we are told is before us. The agenda we have heard about, and that has been proposed over the election cycle, is a far cry from what I believe America should be about. But I have had my say, and now it is time to do what I can to promote peace, harmony, joy, and obedience in my life, and encourage others to do so as well. Our Nation is strong, and I believe with all my heart that our Father is in control. Whatever He allows, we will continue to be His children and the subjects of His promises and provisions.

Take a moment to read Romans 8:28-29. Believe verse 28, and work hard every day for the reality of 29. They go together! Believe and Work. That’s the process and goal.
