Key Thought

In the “Designer Marriage Seminar” workbook there are a series of key thoughts. Here’s one –

“We are never, regardless of circumstances, free to ignore, disobey or abandon commands which are proclaimed clearly in God’s Word. When God tell us to do something, just do it!”

Are you confident you are fulfilling your responsibility as a child of God? Would you describe yourself as a holy, humble, submissive believer? Which characteristics, spiritually speaking, are most prominent in your life?

I never ceased to be amazed at how good we are at living small when God has called us to live large. We live as if the Truth is optional. Perhaps we have the idea that God is not concerned day by day at how we choose to ignore His Spirit’s leading. With little prayer, less focus on apprehending Truth, and a lack of commitment to the family of God (read: Church), we leave our self with a negative answer for the “responsibility” issue.

God has been very clear regarding His expectations. Don’t choose to lose sight of your calling.
