Loyalty

I am amazed at the commitment people show to the things that are really important to them. One’s business, organizations, clubs, groups of friends, even on-line social media are examples of entities that people find allegiance to, and they will not be deterred from practicing absolute loyalty. Believers succumb to the same issues. The one entity that every Believer must be most loyalty to is the one whose Lord is most loyal to them. I am speaking, of course, of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Christ’s promises to His Church are incredible in the minds of most folks. We struggle to believe that He will actually do everything He has promised – fully and completely. Yet the reality is – He never fails. Believers, on the other hand, are haphazard at best, and negligent at worst in being loyal to the family to whom they belong because of Christ’s sacrificial death to redeem them from the curse of sin.

God is never too busy to meet with His family – we are often too busy to meet with Him.

God is always faithful to His commitment to care for, provide for, minister to, and llove infinitely His family – we are often less than faithful even though we have the same responsibilities.

God constantly maintains His endless grace and mercy – we fall short frequently.

God practices the disciplines of His llove without fail – we don’t.
