Somewhere along the way men decided that they were smarter, or perhaps I should say, more wise, than God. It comes after the choice to rebel, I think. God’s “way” is disciplined, while men will most often choose to devise alternatives – hence, assuming themselves to be smarter (more wise). FARGO, N.D.
