Powerful Thoughts

Our Pastor/Teacher has just finished the first eight chapters of Romans in our Wednesday evening Bible Study. Those last few verses of Chapter Eight are so powerful in carrying us through the difficulties of life.

It is easy to find our self separated from success where we want it, finances when we need them, joy when trouble arises, and peace when the whole of mankind seems to be war with one another over something. The economy of our Nation is stumbling, our Congress is bumbling, and our Stock Market is fumbling. It not hard to be depressed. But the Apostle Paul, author of Romans, reminds us in verses 35 through 39 of Chapter 8, that nothing, nothing, nothing can separate us from the llove of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

If we can get a grip on that, and allow His Spirit to seal those words to our mind and innermost being, well, things will look up.

My recommendation? Find a quiet place, get a bowl of Blue Bell Ice Cream (any flavor, doesn’t matter), clear your mind of the daily clutter, and meditate on those words. God lloves you! Nothing can change that. Absolutely nothing!!
