Rushing Headlong

Gay couples rush to get married in California By LISA LEFF, Associated Press Writer Tue Jun 17, 7:32 AM ET SAN FRANCISCO – Hundreds of gay and lesbian couples had appointments to secure marriage licenses and exchange vows Tuesday, the first full day same-sex nuptials will be legal throughout California.

Does it strike you how folks always seem to “rush” to violate the Truth of God’s Word? We never seem to rush to memorize the Truth and make it a light to our path. We don’t appear to be rushing to Church to minister our gifts to one another so that we all come to maturity of Faith. We are not rushing to the mission field to share the Good News of Christ’s redemption.

Some folks seem to be rushing headlong down the broad road that leads to destruction. They can’t wait to prove they are not subject to God and have no regard for obedience to His revealed Truth.

I fear we are leaving the Father with few options regarding this great Nation.
