SCOTUS – Tuesday

Although I wrote a piece about this matter a couple of days back, I want to write one more thought. It will not be on Tuesday that we get a decision; that will probably not come for some time.

In the meantime we (God’s children, Believers, those who belong to Christ because of redemption  through His blood) ought to pray for the Justices (and the plague of unrighteousness in our society). Their decision, regardless of what it is, or isn’t, changes not one wit about the Truth. But either way they decide there will be anger, bitterness, appeal, and lots and lots of ignorant commentary.

America will change – either way. I hope the Justices make an attempt to maintain the Biblical and historical view of marriage. I doubt that they will. God is still in charge, however, and perhaps, if His people, those who are called by His name (Christian), will humble themselves, and pray, and seek His face, and turn from their evil ways, He will hear from Heaven, and the process of Him healing our land could begin.

That sounds a lot like something a book of the Bible would say.
