Thought For The Day

SCOTUS

They are at it again. Why is it that we all seem to be brainwashed into believing that the Supreme Court of the United States has the final say in everything? That is simply not the case. Their decisions are left intact (at least most of the time) because the Congress of the United States is primarily cowardly, mired in political correctness and fear loss of power.

The Court has no authority to write or change law. That process is reserved for the Congress. When the Executive branch of the Government and the Judicial branch of the Government are driving the Country into the abyss of total despair, one would think the Congress (those who “represent” the people  0f the United States) would respond to the majority of Citizens in this Country who want to be governed by the laws of God.

Not so, of course. There are not too few Citizens to change our Nation back to a Country based on its foundational principles of a Christian ethic. There are to few who are willing to stand up and say so. After all, it appears many people would rather watch our Nation sink into the third World mire rather than be called a homophobe or racist even though they are, by definition, neither.

Here’s an idea. How about we call those folks who are willing to stand for righteousness and Americanism (is that a word?). . .Godly Americans.

I, for one, would be proud to be called a Godly American.
