Thought For The Day

Why Her?

Trying in a Court of Law individuals who murder other people is something I favor. I am exasperated and saddened that some who commit murder are not prosecuted while others are punished to the full extent of the law.

PROVO, Utah (Reuters) – A Utah mother pleaded guilty on Thursday to charges she murdered six of her newborn infants over the course of a decade and stuffed their bodies into cardboard boxes in the garage of her home.

Megan Huntsman, 39, who will be sentenced on April 20, had confessed to suffocating or strangling the babies while she was suffering from methamphetamine and alcohol addiction, police said. She faces a maximum term of five years to life in prison on each of the six counts of felony murder.

“We’d be surprised if she ever gets out of prison,” District Attorney Jeff Buhman told reporters after the hearing, explaining that the state board of pardons was unlikely to grant her parole.

It is unfortunate for her that she evidently does not have a license to practice medicine. Those who do, and choose as a matter of practice “suffocating or strangling” babies, are allowed to continue to do so without suffering any consequences except the anger and derision of people (like me) who know the TRUTH.

Here then, six boys and girls who will never know life, joy, hope, llove, and the passion of living in the will of God on this Earth. There are millions more – whose murderers will not suffer in this life the deserved consequences of their actions. Short of the grace of God they will in the judgment to come. People conceived deserve an opportunity to live.

Sometimes you just have to know that in the end It will all Be Resolved. A day is coming, when even a diligent search will find no wickedness.
