Correction

Just so we are always “square” with one another. Back on 9/1/10 I wrote about Ethics. I ended the piece with a “wager” that Euless Trinity and Southlake High Schools would get in more trouble than Congresswoman E. B. Johnston for what I called. . .”unethical” actions.

Well, I was wrong. It appears no one is getting “in trouble” for anything. The report filed by Channel 8 (WFAA, DFW) is being waived off, and the Congresswoman is pleading ignorance (and aptly so, I might add). So we’ll just forget the whole mess. Sound about right to me!

Then we wonder – why do our kids have such poor concepts in regard to ethics? It’s what we teach them. . .dear friends. When words and actions don’t match up, there is a dis-connect that enters the mind – especially the one still open to learning.
