I commend the North Carolina Legislature for sticking to their guns when bullied by the NBA and it’s leadership.  While our society condemns bullying, certain sectors continue to bully those who have taken a stand for what they believe is moral, correct, and wise.

The NBA chose another city for their All-Star game. One noted for it’s. . .shall we say, lack of morality. Since the game will occur during Mardi Gras, everyone should feel right at home.

“The NBA and Commissioner Adam Silver have sent a clear message to lawmakers in North Carolina and across the country that discrimination against LGBTQ people has consequences and will not be tolerated,” HRC President Chad Griffin said in a statement. “New Orleans’ explicit LGBTQ non-discrimination protections will ensure all NBA employees, players, and fans who participate in the All-Star Game are protected from discrimination.” (TIME)

Only God will be able to protect the people from themselves. . .but then, who’s listening to Him.
