You can always count on Planned Parenthood to be a partner in your healthcare, right?
Suppose you were scheduled for a “procedure” in your physician’s office which carried with it such risks as, say, bleeding to death, permanent injury limiting your ability to have children, life threatening infections – well, I could go on, but you have heard the list if you have ever had any kind of surgery – the last of which is the possibility of death. And, just before the procedure is to begin, you are reminded that your physician does not have the ability to admit you to a hospital – just in case something goes wrong – so, I guess, you will be on your own to find another Doctor who can get you admitted to a hospital – so bleed slowly. Frankly, I would be looking for a different physician. I have lived long enough to know that it is not unusual for “things” to go wrong.
Planned Parenthood “says in a filing with the high court [United States Supreme Court] Monday that more than a third of the clinics in Texas have been forced to stop providing abortions. . . since the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals went too far in overruling a trial judge who blocked the law’s provision that requires doctors who perform abortions in clinics to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital.” (Associated Press)
Evidently Planned Parenthood doesn’t care if one can get into a hospital should the murder of one’s child also endanger the life of the mother to the point of needing such care. It is unconsciencable that we would murder children in the womb, and then, add to the equation that mothers could have such procedures in places where hospital care cannot be ordered by the physician.
We would be foolish indeed to believe that God, who creates and cherishes all life, will not hold us accountable for the act of taking life in these matters, or supporting those who do so, under any circumstance.
At least, pray that the Supreme Court of the United States will demand such protection for mothers – even those who commit such atrocities.
