Thought For The Day

Worldly Age

I am not sure anyone can question that along with the Church at Ephesus (to whom Paul wrote the book of Ephesians) we live in a “worldly age.” The Enemy is working hard in those who are disobedient to Truth.

But there is such wonderful news! Because of “God’s great llove and abundant mercy” (Ephesians 2:4) we no longer walk under that evil leadership. Rather, God is busy displaying to us His immeasurable riches, kindness, and grace through the presence of His Spirit within us. (Ephesians 2:7)

Now we have an opportunity to be a vital part of that which God, our Father, is building in this World. Since we have come to Christ by faith, we have the foundation laid by the Apostles and Prophets, and Christ Himself is the cornerstone. His Spirit is fitting us together in Him and we are growing together into a holy sanctuary where God Himself is the resident. (Ephesians 2:19-22)

I trust your are about that task of opening every facet of your life to that which God designs to do in you and through you. Certainly as our society grows more and more disobedient, disorderly, and disappointing, we will want to seize that mercy and llove with everything within us.

Right? Right!!
